The vision
Johnny Dawson and Jimmy Hines envisioned a country club in an Indian Wells cove.
OUR STORY
A member-owned club shaped by its people and its desert setting.
Longtime friends Johnny Dawson and Jimmy Hines saw the potential of a wind-protected cove in 1956. The property, once a farm growing dates, grapes and grapefruit, became the setting for Eldorado.
The Club’s first golf round took place on November 22, 1957. Generations of members have since carried forward a culture of friendship and discretion.
Membership is independent of real estate ownership and remains by invitation.
